Shams National School Embraces AI-Powered Learning with Tech Valley MENA
[Riyadh, Saudi Arabia] — December, 2025 — Shams National School, in partnership with Tech Valley MENA (TVM), successfully conducted a series of three AI-driven workshops in December 2025, empowering educators and students with hands-on digital skills and Google AI-powered tools.
The initiative included:
- Gemini for Educators – A two-day, six-hour intensive workshop for teaching staff across both male and female campuses. Participants learned to integrate Gemini AI and Google Workspace into lesson planning, assessments, quizzes, and classroom activities. Hands-on exercises allowed educators to apply AI directly to real classroom scenarios, generating high enthusiasm and interest in continued professional development.
- Gemini for Grade 10 Students – A two-day interactive workshop for senior students at both male and female campuses. The program introduced students to Gemini AI tools to enhance research, study planning, and problem-solving skills, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey.
- Read Along for Grade 5 Students – A workshop for 47 Grade 5 students across both campuses, leveraging Google’s AI-powered reading tool to improve pronunciation, oral fluency, and daily reading habits. Interactive exercises, digital rewards, and live assessments created a lively, technology-enabled learning environment and renewed enthusiasm for English literacy.
